Our Aero disc wheels were Hed’s first product. In 1984 their lenticular shape made them the fastest wheel available for time trial events. Our current lenticular/toroidal hybrid disc shape is still the fastest disc wheel you can get. The lenticular disc sides provide extra speed in any crosswind, and the toroidal section near the tire reduces turbulence where the airflow leaves the wheel. The spoked construction of the Hed Disc wheel makes the wheel stiff and efficient, while retaining a smooth ride quality that other disc wheels lack.
Incredibly fast, with a supremely slippery aero profile, Hed Discs have been ridden to many world championships.
